Keyword Suggestion Tool

Generate long-tail keyword ideas from any seed phrase by combining it with a fixed list of 20 common search modifiers. Every result is a plain string permutation, not a search-volume estimate.

How to use this tool

  1. 1

Type a single seed keyword or phrase into the input box (for example 'coffee maker').

  2. 2

Scan the generated grid of ideas — each modifier is added both before and after your seed.

  3. 3

Click Copy next to any idea to copy that single phrase to your clipboard.

  4. 4

Paste promising ideas into Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or Semrush to check real volume and difficulty.

What is keyword permutation, and how does this tool generate ideas?

Keyword permutation is a brainstorming technique that expands one core term into many long-tail variations by attaching modifier words. This tool does exactly that, and nothing more: it takes your seed phrase and pairs it with each of 20 fixed modifiers — best, free, online, how to, what is, vs, alternative, review, tutorial, guide, for beginners, for business, 2025, comparison, tips, examples, cheap, premium, wordpress, and shopify. Each modifier is placed both before your seed and after it, so a seed always produces exactly 40 ideas (20 modifiers times 2 positions). The combination is pure string concatenation, so some results read awkwardly ('vs coffee', 'coffee how to') and there is no grammar checking, deduplication, or relevance ranking. The modifier list is hand-picked and static — for instance the year modifier is hardcoded to 2025 rather than the current year — so treat the output as a raw idea space to filter, not a polished keyword list. There is also no search-volume, competition, or trend data here; that requires a dedicated research tool. Use this to quickly surface long-tail angles you might otherwise miss, then validate the survivors elsewhere.

Common use cases

  • Brainstorming long-tail blog post titles around a topic, like turning 'sourdough' into 'how to sourdough' and 'sourdough for beginners'.

  • Seeding a product page's target terms by pairing a product name with 'best', 'cheap', 'premium', 'review', and 'alternative'.

  • Generating comparison and 'vs' angles for affiliate content from a single brand or category seed.

  • Filling out a content calendar by expanding one pillar keyword into dozens of variation ideas to triage.

  • Quickly drafting platform-specific queries using the 'wordpress' and 'shopify' modifiers for e-commerce or CMS niches.

  • Warming up a paid keyword research session by exporting a starter list of phrases to paste into Keyword Planner or Ahrefs.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real search volumes?
No. The tool only generates phrase ideas through string combination. It has no volume, competition, or trend data. Validate every idea in Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or Semrush before targeting it.
How many ideas does it produce?
Exactly 40 per seed: 20 fixed modifiers, each placed once before your seed and once after it.
Why do some suggestions read awkwardly, like 'vs coffee'?
Combination is naive string concatenation with no grammar or relevance filtering, so every modifier is applied in both positions even when the result is not natural. Skip the awkward ones and keep the useful permutations.
Can I change or add modifiers?
Not from the interface. The list of 20 modifiers is hardcoded in the component, so the output set is fixed for any given seed.
Why does it suggest '2025' phrases in 2026?
The year modifier is hardcoded to 2025 rather than the current date, so it can be stale. Adjust the year manually when you move an idea into your real research tool.
Is my keyword sent to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser — the ideas are built locally from your input and Copy uses your browser clipboard. Nothing you type is uploaded.
Is there a way to copy or export all ideas at once?
No. Copy works one phrase at a time; there is no bulk copy or export. Copy the ideas you want individually.
