Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how RevealTheme uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. Cookies help sites remember your preferences, measure traffic, and (in some cases) deliver advertising.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- theme — remembers your light/dark mode choice. Set by next-themes. Expires after 1 year.
- exit-modal — remembers if you've seen the exit-intent popup. Set by RevealTheme. Expires after 30 days.
Analytics
- _ga — used by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish unique users. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_* — used by Google Analytics 4 to persist session state. Expires after 2 years.
Advertising
- __gads, __gpi, __eoi — set by Google AdSense to deliver and measure relevant ads. Each expires after 13 months.
- IDE, DSID, NID — set by Google to deliver and measure ads across the web. Expires after 13 months.
How to control cookies
- Browser settings. All major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) let you block or delete cookies via Settings > Privacy.
- Google Ad Settings. Opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads.
- Network Advertising Initiative. Opt out across multiple ad networks at optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Do Not Track. We respect "Do Not Track" browser signals where required by law.
Consequences of blocking cookies
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will not break the site. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies means we (and our advertisers) collect less information about your visit. The site will still function normally.
EU / UK / California users
If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of any page.
Changes
We may update this policy as our cookie usage evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
